MARCH madness!

So...when MARCH began...we celebrated Dr. Seuss by different dress up days and by mystery readers...
Ms. Poduska read to our class!

Anne Long read to our class.

Amelia Wilson read to our class.

Chet Work read to our class.
Cindy Lou-Who came for a visit!!!
After a week full of great readers we have had a busy March!
Kindergartners still love Center time. It is their favorite time of day!

Mrs. Chudzik came to guest read....and boy did she do a GREAT job! She must be a teacher!

Kylie celebrated 6!!!

The 3-6th graders have been busy with PAWS...which means the 2nd graders came in for reading all week!

Buddy reading is the best.

Last week's weather was insanely beautiful...so we took off outside for a break. We ran around at one point without coats...snowpants...or hats!

Vitamin D

It's bright out here!

Working the monkey in me!

Hang on!

Surprises on the slide!
Mrs. Griffin celebrates 33!

This week we will focus on the DAILY 5!
Read to your self!
Read to a friend!
Write about Reading!
Work with words!
Listen to reading!
Letter and blend reviews
Snap words: go, here, from
Bring in VOWEL sharing any day this week!

During writing...
We are brainstorming "HOW to" topics and exploring different "HOW to" books, websites and videos.

During Math...
We are working on number printing practice, top it, teen numbers, 3-dimensional shapes and TIME!

Other things...
We have been focusing on Mexican-America...all last week. We will keep on that this week. Last Friday after reading Too many Tamales, we ate some ourselves. Kids enjoyed them! I wish I would've taken pictures, but sometimes it's all consuming.

I am out Thursday for Professional Development and Friday for a plane ride to Alabama and Florida!

Spot in Jupiter Beach that we hope to take Whitty this year.
