Wel...we knew it would eventually come!

So, today is your day!
You are off to great places...you are off and away!

This is not only the last day of Kindergarten for your little one...but for me too.
After today I will be moving on to a 4/5 year old classroom.

I will be posting pictures of kiddos next Monday and Tuesday. Remember you can print right from the blog and make a book from the blog too. Let me know if you would like directions on how to do that!

If you are wondering what to do this summer...
You should:
1. Combine books with activities for example...read a book about a baseball game or player..then go catch a game in Idaho Falls or even the minor league team in Salt Lake!
2. Visit the Library and sign up for the summer reading program.
3. Lead by example. Read the paper. A book. Anything.
4. Talk it up. Share what you read with your child.
5. Help the kids find time for reading.
6. Relax the rules...come on, it's summer!
7. Have lots of reading material around.
8. Buy and decorate summer adventure journals.
9. Read aloud with your kids.
OH yea....have some fun!

News and upcoming events!

So my life has been this! Sorry I haven't been the best blogger...but my house is sold, packed and en route to Vermont via Jordy. The boys and I are in a furnished fabulous condo in Driggs.
This week we had some visitors...like this cutie who will be in Kindergarten next year.
 And this one too!
We had a good time with them. We had a GREAT snack...it's called the fishing snack and yes it's gluten free....you take pretzel sticks, peanut butter and any little critter snacks (goldfish, bunnies, gummies) and go fishing using your pretzel sticks and peanut butter as a pole and bait. Catch and EAT...not CATCH and release!
This is quite funny...of a THURSDAY at the Alta school. Take note of how tall I am!
This is what happens when teachers are stuck in the foyer!
Thursday night I only took 2 photos...cause I was chasing after my own kid! Here is a picture of the big room doing Tortoise and Hare in Spanish. Wow!
And the INSANITY around pinatas...good thing we only did 3. That was crazy!
And after all that my kids were more than happy to sit right down and take a little computer test.
They did GREAT!
